Tender Description
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) through its Resident Engineer at Power Station Mangla is procuring multiple civil works at the WAPDA Officers Colony Baral Mangla Cantt. These works include construction of a drinking water filtration plant, repair and maintenance of boundary walls, residential buildings, aluminum windows, park upgradation, road resurfacing, and installation of booster pumps. The scope covers a variety of tasks such as R&M of residential kitchens, dining areas, and boundary walls, as well as drainage and sewerage system improvements. The projects are scheduled for completion within 45 to 90 days, reflecting a medium-scale civil works program aimed at enhancing infrastructure and living conditions within the colony.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-6 or above, with specialization relevant to civil works. Firms must also be registered with the Income Tax Department and FBR, and have an active ATL status. Experience in similar civil construction and repair works is essential to meet the technical requirements. Earnest Money in the form of CDR or Bank Guarantee is required as per the specified amounts for each work package.
The tender documents are available electronically on the EPADS portal and must be submitted online by 1000 hours on the respective bid opening dates, which range from 5th to 7th May 2026. The Resident Engineer’s office at Power Station Mangla is the point of contact for clarifications. Bidders should ensure their technical and financial bids are complete and uploaded correctly to avoid rejection.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the bid security in the exact form and amount specified, as any deviation or late submission will lead to disqualification. Also, ensure all required documents including PEC registration and FBR certificates are valid and attached to avoid blacklisting or bid rejection.
