Tender Description
The Punjab Building Department invites tenders from engineering firms and contractors registered with PEC for the financial year 2026-27 for construction and balance works in Gujranwala. The procurement will be conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk in accordance with PPRA rules. Bidders must submit their bids electronically with 5% bid security via the e-Procurement portal. Manual bids or physical financial instruments like CDRs will not be accepted.
Items being procured:
- Construction of Residence for Assistant Commissioner at Tehsil Nowshera Virkan District Gujranwala ADP No. 3466 for the year 2026-27 (Estimated Cost: Rs. 39.183 Million, Earnest Money: Rs. 19,59,150, Time Limit: 12 Months)
- Balance works of Assistant Commissioner Office Kamoke District Gujranwala ADP No. 3460 for the year 2026-27 (Estimated Cost: Rs. 22.006 Million, Earnest Money: Rs. 11,00,300, Time Limit: 12 Months)
The works involve construction and finishing as per approved DNIT and BOQ with specifications and codes. Contractors must have the relevant PEC license and specification codes to participate. The bids will be opened on 02-09-2026 at 11:00 AM in the office of the Superintending Engineer, Buildings Circle No. 2 Gujranwala. The department reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules.
Eligibility requires PEC registration for the current financial year, FBR/ATL registration, and earnest money submission electronically. Successful bidders must furnish a 10% performance guarantee within 15 days in the form of CDR or bank guarantee.
