Construction of Residential Flats for Lower Staff (BPS-01 to BPS-05) at Central Prison, Hyderabad (Balance Work)

The Prisons Department Sindh invites sealed bids for the construction of residential flats for lower staff (BPS-01 to BPS-05) at Central Prison, Hyderabad. This balance work includes comprehensive civil works, reinforced cement concrete, fabrication of steel reinforcement, installation of G.I frames for doors and windows, cement plastering, deodar wood joinery, marble flooring and tiling, painting, and other finishing works. Items being procured: - Pacca brick work in cement sand mortar ratio 1:6 - Reinforced cement concrete work including labour and materials - Fabrication of Tor steel reinforcement - Fixing G.I frames/chowkats for doors and windows - Cement plaster 1:6 and 1:4 - Deodar wood joinery work in doors and windows - Cement concrete plain work - Laying Verona marble flooring and marble tiles - Laying floor of approved coloured glazed tiles - Glazed tiles dado - Primary coat of chalk under distemper - Distempering three coats - Surface preparation and painting with matt finish and weather coat - Rain water down pipe installation - Stainless steel nickel coated stair case railing The technical scope covers all materials, workmanship, and finishes as per the detailed specifications and drawings provided by the Project Director, PMU, Prisons Department Sindh. The site is located at Central Prison, Hyderabad. Eligible bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category and/or pre-qualified with the Procuring Agency. Bidders should have the financial, technical, and constructional capacity to perform the contract. A bid security of 5% of the estimated cost is required. The bid validity period is 90 days.
