Tender Description
Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites bids for the construction of retaining walls around eight towers of 132KV transmission lines located at Q.D. Singh - DHA-1, Nokhar - Q.D. Singh/Fateh Pur, and Nokhar-Khiali in Gujranwala. This project involves civil works including the building of retaining walls at specified tower sites as per site requirements. The tender is issued under the Single Stage-Single Envelope (SSSE) bidding procedure in accordance with the PPRA Rules-2004, amended to date.
Eligible contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under the CE-10 category and have renewed their registration for the fiscal year 2025-26. Additionally, contractors must hold up-to-date registrations with Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) and GST for sales tax on services and purchases. Experience of at least one completed work with NTDC, DISCOs, or WAPDA in the last two years is mandatory, supported by photocopies of work orders. Contractors currently working with GEPCO must submit a performance certificate from the concerned office at the time of tender issuance.

Earnest money in the form of a CDR at 2% of the BOQ value is required, payable to the Executive Engineer SS&T/L Division GEPCO Gujranwala. The successful bidder must submit 10% of the contract price as performance security at contract signing.
