Tender Description
The Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) invites bids for the construction of a Tube Well and Pump House including boring and side drainage at the 132 kV Grid Station Thakot, located in Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2025-26 and aims to enhance water infrastructure at the grid station site.
The technical scope includes boring up to 120 meters depth with sinking and withdrawing of casing pipes, cement sand grouting, shrouding and filling around strainer pipes, excavation for foundations, cement concrete works, RCC works, steel reinforcement, brickwork, plastering, installation of steel doors and windows, laying of GI and WI pipes, valves, and electrical wiring for fans and lighting. The project also involves installation of a submersible pump and related accessories.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 or above with specialization codes CE-10, CE-09, EE-11, and have at least five years of construction experience. They must have completed at least two civil contracts of similar nature and scope within the last five years, each valued at no less than 50% of the estimated cost. Bidders must also be active taxpayers with FBR and KPRA and provide audited financial statements for the last three years demonstrating financial capability.
Key dates include the bid submission deadline on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM via the EPADS v2.0 system. Manual submissions are not accepted. Bidders are advised to register on EPADS and review all bidding documents carefully. The bid validity period is 90 days.
