Tender Description
The Local Government & Rural Development Department South Waziristan Lower invites sealed tenders through the Electronic Procurement and Disposal System (EPADS) for multiple construction works under the ADP No 955/251053-2025-26 focused on uplifting and beautification activities including infrastructure improvement, monuments, and streets in merged districts. These works are based on MRS – 2025 (1st Bi-Annual) and Non MRS items as per the approved PC-I.
Items being procured:
- Construction of Gate Bab Wana at GM Area
- Construction of Tough Tiles Street Drain and Solar Lights in Gul Area
- Construction of Tough Tiles Street and Beautification of Shop Front in Rehmat Ullah Area
- Construction of Tough Tiles Street Drain, Solar Lights and other Beautification in Sami Area
- Construction of Tough Tiles Street Drain, Solar Lights and other Beautification in Ala Noor Area
The scope includes civil construction works such as street paving with tough tiles, installation of solar lighting, drainage systems, and beautification of public areas. All materials and workmanship must comply with the approved standards and specifications. The works are to be executed in South Waziristan Lower with completion timelines as per issued work orders.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and enlisted with the C&W Department under the Centralized Enlistment Policy of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the current financial year. Active FBR/ATL registration is mandatory. A bid security of 2% of the estimated cost (Rs. 400,000) is required in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favor of the Assistant Director (Senior) LG & RDD South Waziristan Lower. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS and the original bid security instrument delivered to the office before the deadline.
The last date for bid submission and opening is 22nd September 2026, with online clarifications accepted until 14th September 2026 at 5:00 PM. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their bids without cutting or overwriting and ensure timely submission of all required documents. Presence of bidders or their representatives at the electronic bid opening is allowed.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your PEC registration and FBR status are current and upload all documents clearly on EPADS to avoid disqualification. Also, prepare detailed rate analysis if bidding more than 20% below the engineer's estimate to comply with KPPRA rules.
