Consultancy Services for Design, Drawing and Supervision of Pre-Stressed Bridge and Road Construction at Syed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical Science Sehwan Sharif

The Works and Services Department Government of Sindh, through the Executive Engineer, Provincial Highways Division Jamshoro, invites qualified consulting firms to provide consultancy services for the detailed design, drawing, and supervision of a pre-stressed bridge and road construction scheme at Syed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical Science Sehwan Sharif. The project involves construction of a road from Sehwan Jhangara Road to the Nursing and Para Medical School including a 400 feet pre-stressed bridge at Mile 0/0-0/4 (0.80 Kms). This consultancy includes detailed engineering design, preparation of tender documents, hydrology study, environmental impact assessment (EIA), soil testing, and construction supervision of the Sindh Provincial Highway. Items being procured: - Topographic and X-section survey - Geotechnical investigation including boreholes and pit logs - Pavement design review and update - Detailed engineering design of road and structures - Structural design calculations and reports - Preparation of detailed drawings including tender and construction drawings - Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study and report - Preparation of tender documents including specifications and bills of quantities - Development and review of unit rates for construction - Assistance in bid evaluation report preparation - Construction supervision including contract management, quality assurance, progress monitoring, and finalization of accounts The technical scope covers detailed surveys, design according to AASHTO and Pakistan Highway Code standards, structural analysis using software like STAAD Pro or SAP2000, environmental studies as per PEPA and SEPA guidelines, and comprehensive construction supervision ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion. The consultant must be PEC registered with relevant project profile codes and service codes, registered with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board, and have proven experience in similar highway and bridge projects. Key dates include submission of Call Deposit and other instruments by 24-07-2026 at 10:30 AM with opening at 11:00 AM on the same day. A second attempt is scheduled for 10-08-2026. Proposals must be submitted to the Executive Engineer, Provincial Highways Division, Jamshoro, near NADRA Office Kotri @ Jamshoro. Earnest money of 5% of total bid value is required in the form of Call Deposit. The proposal validity is 90 days from bid opening.
