Tender Description
The Works and Services Department of the Government of Sindh invites qualified consulting firms to provide comprehensive consultancy services for the detailed engineering design of pre-stressed bridges, flyover, and ramp located at the road from Nawabshah Saeedabad Road along Sim Nala to connect Nawabshah Sanghar Road at Cheezalabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh. This assignment is issued by the Executive Engineer, Provincial Highways Division, Shaheed Benazirabad.

The consultancy scope includes five stages: detailed planning, geotechnical investigation, preliminary engineering, detailed engineering design and drawings, and third-party vetting. The consultant will conduct site visits, review existing structures, evaluate hydraulic data, perform geotechnical boreholes and lab testing, prepare preliminary and detailed designs, cost estimates, tender documents, and ensure third-party validation of designs. The consultant must coordinate with relevant government agencies and comply with applicable engineering standards and codes.
Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with relevant project profile codes and service codes, valid registration with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board, and have experience in bridge design. Firms must submit audited financial reports, affidavits regarding blacklisting and litigation status, and demonstrate technical and financial capability. The minimum technical score for qualification is 75 points, with evaluation based on experience, methodology, staffing, and commitments.
