Consultancy Services for Smart Fare System for BRT Karachi

Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the hiring of an individual consultant to provide consultancy services for the Smart Fare System for the Karachi Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. The assignment is part of the Karachi Mobility Project (IBRD-8995-PK) and aims to enhance the efficiency and integration of fare collection across the BRT corridors in Karachi. Items being procured: - Consultancy services for Smart Fare System (individual consultant) The consultant will be responsible for preparing technical documents, reviewing and updating the Smart Fare System, and ensuring compliance with international standards such as FIDIC. The scope includes integration of fare management, technical evaluation, and support in procurement processes. The assignment requires expertise in transport fare systems, project management, and familiarity with MS Project and FIDIC guidelines. Eligible candidates must have a Master's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field, with at least 10 years of relevant experience in smart fare systems or similar transport technology projects.
