Damaged Conductor Replacement Work Between Tower Locations 99 and 102 of 220kV Sheikh Muhammadi - Daudkhel Transmission Line at Dara Adam Khel

The National Grid Company of Pakistan (NGCP) invites qualified contractors for the Damaged Conductor Replacement Work between Tower Locations 99 and 102 of the 220kV Sheikh Muhammadi - Daudkhel Transmission Line at Dara Adam Khel, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This procurement is managed by the 500 KV T/L(M) Manager Asset Management Circle NGCP-North Peshawar. The scope includes dismantling and unclipping of existing conductor along with all associated insulators, hardware and other materials, and transportation of dismantled material to warehouse for a 1.5 Km double circuit span. Additionally, transportation and installation of ACSR Rail conductor for single conductor configuration, insulators installation along with conductor hardware, accessories and dampers complete in all respects as per specifications and approved drawings is required for the same 1.5 Km double circuit span. Items being procured: - Dismantling/ unclipping of existing conductor with insulators, hardware and materials (1.5 Km, double circuit) - Transportation of dismantled material to warehouse - Transportation and installation of ACSR Rail conductor (1.5 Km, double circuit) - Installation of insulators, conductor hardware, accessories and dampers The technical scope covers all phases of dismantling and replacement works including site clearance and transportation. The contractor must have PEC licenses C-6, CE-10, and EE-05, be on the Active Taxpayers List, and have relevant experience in transmission line works including construction of RCC spread foundations, tower erection, stringing, testing and commissioning of 220kV or higher voltage bundled transmission lines of at least 2 KM strung by controlled tension method. The contractor should have own tension/stringing equipment or confirmed sources for the same. The project site is located in Dara Adam Khel, District Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The contract period includes commencement within 14 days of award and completion as per schedule. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by August 20, 2026, 01:00 PM. Manual bids will not be accepted. Bid security of 2% of bid value is required. The contract will be awarded on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) basis. The contractor is advised to carefully review all bidding documents, attend pre-bid meetings if scheduled, and ensure timely submission of all required documents including bid security and PEC licenses. One practical tip: Register early on EPADS v2.0 and ensure your bid security is compliant to avoid disqualification.
