Decoration Services for Convocation-2026 at Institute of Business Administration Karachi

The Institute of Business Administration, Karachi (IBA) invites sealed bids from active taxpayers and registered civil work contractors for providing comprehensive Decoration Services for Convocation-2026 at its Main Campus, University Enclave, Karachi. This tender covers a wide range of services including complete venue setup for 4000 guests, air conditioning systems, stage and furniture arrangements, lighting and luminaries, signage, and allied support services. Items being procured:\n- Frill Marquee with wall panels covering approx. 64,800 sq.ft at Cricket Ground\n- Air Conditioning system with 448 tons capacity and vehicle mounted chillers with generators\n- Presidential and VVIP chairs, head table setup with aluminum stairs and ramps\n- Aluminum stage with stairs and ramps, carpeting including spotless maroon carpets for main venue and group photograph area\n- Two-seater sofas, rope stands/dividers, kiosks with sheds for souvenir distribution and guest scanning\n- Installation of trussing with black curtains and IBA branding media walls\n- Low back foamy chairs for guests and students, pedestal metallic circulation fans\n- Adequate lighting including tungsten Perkin lights, creative pathway lighting, spot lighting for academic blocks and parking areas\n- Supply and installation of commercial grade digital standees on rental basis with on-site technical support\nThe technical scope requires high quality materials and workmanship, including noiseless air conditioning, proper wiring with concealed cables, and environmental friendly procedures for generators. The site is IBA Main Campus, Karachi, with mandatory site visit on September 30, 2026. Eligibility criteria include relevant experience with at least 3 projects in last 5 years, minimum average annual turnover of Rs. 12 million, valid FBR/SRB tax registrations, and affidavit of no dissatisfactory performance. Bid security of Rs. 240,000 in form of Pay Order or Demand Draft is required. The last date for submission is October 9, 2026 by 3:00 PM at Security Office, Gate #4, IBA Main Campus. Bids will be opened same day at 3:30 PM. Successful bidder must provide 10% performance security prior to contract signing.
