Tender Description
The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) invites qualified firms to undertake the desktop revaluation and other agreed upon procedures for PAA Fixed Assets as at 30th June 2026. This procurement is managed by the Pakistan Airports Authority, headquartered at Terminal 1 Building, Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, Sindh. The scope includes desktop valuation of specified fixed asset classes including investment properties and Sukuk bond properties, reassessment of useful lives and residual values, impairment testing per financial reporting standards, categorization of additions during FY 2025-26, and integration of findings into Oracle ERP with necessary disclosures in financial statements.
Items being procured:
- Desktop valuation of PAA's specified classes of fixed assets
- Reassessment of useful lives and residual values
- Impairment testing on potentially impaired assets and/or Cash Generating Units
- Review and categorization of additions during FY 2025-26
- Incorporation of findings and adjustments into Oracle ERP
- Appropriate disclosures in financial statements for year ended 30th June 2026
The assignment must comply with applicable accounting and financial reporting standards in Pakistan including IAS 8, IAS 16, IAS 36, IAS 40, IFRS 13, relevant IFRIC interpretations, and Companies Act, 2017 provisions. The successful Chartered Accountant firm will submit a comprehensive report covering procedures performed, verification, key observations, conclusions, and recommendations. The valuation firm will provide a detailed valuation report including methodologies, assumptions, calculations, asset-wise results, and limitations. Both reports must be signed by authorized representatives and submitted in hard and soft copies.
Eligibility requires ICAP registration, FBR/ATL compliance, and experience in similar assignments. The firm must demonstrate technical competence, financial resources, and managerial capability. The bid submission deadline is **Thursday, August 6, 2026 02:00 PM** via EPADS v2.0 only; manual submissions are not accepted. The technical bid will be opened the same day at 02:30 PM. The bid security must be submitted as a Pay Order and original delivered to the Pakistan Airports Authority headquarters in Karachi.
