Detailed Route Survey and Engineering/Design for Rerouting of Existing 500 kV & 220 kV Transmission Lines Affected by Sukkur–Hyderabad Motorway (M-6)

The National Grid Company (NGC) Hyderabad invites qualified firms for consultancy services involving detailed route survey and engineering/design for rerouting existing 500 kV & 220 kV transmission lines affected by the proposed Sukkur–Hyderabad Motorway (M-6). This assignment includes route/topographic survey, soil/subsoil investigation, tower spotting and make-up, plan & profile, foundation design, sag-tension/stringing charts, electrical clearance calculations, BOQ preparation, and complete construction drawings/design documents. Items being procured: - Preliminary survey for identification of three alternative route/relocation/shifting schemes using satellite imagery, Google Maps, and Survey of Pakistan maps - Detailed survey including chainage, leveling, plan & profile drawings using PLS-CADD, tower spotting, sag and tension calculations, structure list, survey reports, soil resistivity report, and preparation of BOQ and cost estimates - Providing and fixing marking stones at specified locations - Sub-soil investigation including laboratory tests and foundation design calculations and drawings The scope covers fourteen specific under-crossings of the proposed motorway with a completion period of 120 days from commencement. The consultancy firm must have relevant experience in transmission line projects, survey and subsoil investigations, and provide qualified key personnel. The contract will be awarded through Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) under a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure. Bidders must be registered with PEC, active taxpayers, and not blacklisted. Technical proposals will be evaluated on experience, methodology, work program, and key personnel qualifications. Financial proposals will be opened for technically qualified firms.
