Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Three Phase Diesel Generator Sets and Conversion of Grid-Tied Solar Systems into Hybrid Solar Systems at Railway Stations in Karachi Division

Pakistan Railways, Karachi Division, is inviting experienced firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and appearing on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of FBR to participate in the procurement of critical electrical and solar infrastructure upgrades at multiple railway stations within Karachi Division. This tender is being managed by the Divisional Superintendent Office, Karachi, under the Single Stage – Two Envelope Procedure as per PPRA Rules. Items being procured: - Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Three Phase Diesel Generator Sets (04 Nos of 45 kVA and 09 Nos of 25 kVA) at 13 Railway Stations within Karachi Division as per specifications in the bidding documents - Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning for conversion of existing grid-tied solar systems into Hybrid Solar Systems at 21 railway stations within Karachi Division on a turnkey basis as per specifications in the bidding documents The technical scope includes the provision and commissioning of high-capacity diesel generators and the complete conversion of solar power infrastructure to hybrid systems, ensuring uninterrupted power supply at key railway stations. Firms must be registered in C-5 or above from PEC with specialization in EE-11 for the generator package, and in C-2 or above from AEDB/PPIB and C-5 or above from PEC with specialization in EE-11 for the solar conversion package. Bid security is required in the form of a Bank Guarantee, CDR, or Pay Order, with amounts of Rs. 940,000 for the generator lot and Rs. 889,300 for the solar lot. Bids must be submitted through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal (www.epads.gov.pk), with a sealed hard copy of the Technical Bid also required at the office of the Divisional Accounts Officer, Pakistan Railways, Karachi.
