Tender Description
The Federal Board of Revenue, Collectorate of Customs (Enforcement) based at Custom House Lahore, is procuring services for the dismantling of 123 confiscated tampered vehicles. These vehicles include 115 cars and jeeps, 6 Mazda dumper trucks, and 2 motorcycles. The vehicles are stored at Customs State Warehouses located in Lahore, Gujranwala, and Sialkot. This tender is specifically for bidders capable of handling vehicle dismantling operations across these three cities in Punjab.
The technical scope involves careful dismantling of the vehicles ensuring compliance with all regulatory and environmental standards. The work requires expertise in handling various vehicle types including light passenger vehicles and heavy dumper trucks. Bidders should have relevant experience in vehicle dismantling or automotive scrap processing, supported by valid PEC registration if applicable, and must be registered with FBR and ATL. The tender demands submission of earnest money in the form of a security deposit amounting to 5% of the bid value and a performance guarantee of 10%, totaling 15% of the bid amount to be deposited in the Collectorate's account by 15th July 2026.
The revised deadline for bid submission on EPADS is 15-07-2026 at 11:00 AM, extended from the original 14-07-2026. Bidders must ensure timely submission of both technical and financial bids through the prescribed electronic portal. The bids will be opened as per the EPADS schedule unless further corrigendum is issued. The submission address is the office of the Deputy Collector, 2nd Floor, Custom House, Nabha Road, Lahore.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the CDR and ensure all documentation complies with the tender requirements before the deadline. Late submissions or incomplete bids are liable to be rejected. Familiarity with EPADS portal procedures will also facilitate smooth bid submission and avoid last-minute technical issues.
