Tender Description
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) based in Multan, Punjab, is procuring Double Pole Platforms under tender reference P64355 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is crucial for MEPCO's infrastructure enhancement and maintenance projects in the region.
Items being procured:
- DOUBLE POLE PLATFORM (Quantity: 1230 units)
The technical specifications require compliance with DDS-48:2008 (Amended to date) standards for structural braces. The delivery schedule mandates 50% of the quantity to be supplied within 60 days and the remaining 50% within 90 days or earlier. The supply is to be made on a Free Consignee Store (FCS) basis inclusive of all taxes, duties, 0.5% inspection charges, and GST.
Bidders must ensure that the materials conform to WAPDA/PEPCO/NTDC specifications and provide valid prototype approvals where applicable. Inspection will be conducted at the supplier's premises by the Chief Engineer (M.I) Lahore or authorized representatives along with MEPCO officials. Visual inspections will also be carried out at MEPCO Regional Stores in Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and DG Khan.
Eligibility criteria include valid FBR registration, satisfactory supply record with MEPCO/DISCOs, and no blacklisting by WAPDA or related entities. PEC category compliance and experience in similar supplies are essential. Bidders must submit a bid security and performance guarantee as per tender requirements.
The tender documents are available on EPADS v2.0, and bids must be submitted electronically through this platform by the deadline of August 3, 2026, at 11:45 AM. Manual submissions are not accepted. The bid opening will occur the same day at 12:15 PM.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration on EPADS v2.0 and submit all required documents including bid security physically before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
