Tender Description
The Senate Secretariat (Administration Branch) Islamabad invites bids for the provision of dry cleaning and laundry services for the fiscal year 2026-2027. This procurement is conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 under the Single Stage One Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. The services required include professional laundry and dry cleaning of various items used by the Secretariat, ensuring hygiene and fabric integrity.
Items being procured:
- Suit 2 Piece (Pants + Coat + Waistcoat), Quantity: 90 pieces
- Gowns, Quantity: 20 pieces
- Towels, Quantity: 40 pieces
- Carpet, Quantity: 1 sqft
- Shirt, Quantity: 90 pieces
The scope covers collection, sorting, washing with suitable detergents and softeners meeting antibacterial standards, stain removal, drying, ironing/pressing, folding, packaging, and delivery within 24 hours of work order issuance. An urgent delivery option within 12 hours is also available if required. The contractor is liable for any damage caused by chemicals or mishandling and must maintain records of all items processed.
Eligibility criteria include having a laundry facility in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, at least five years of relevant experience, FBR registration, and submission of an affidavit regarding blacklisting and litigation status. Bidders must submit bids online via EPADS v2.0 by **October 6, 2026, 02:00 PM**. Manual bids will not be accepted. Bid security of PKR 110,000 is required. The contract period is one year with possible extension subject to performance.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents on EPADS and ensure timely submission. Registration on EPADS v2.0 is mandatory for participation. The Senate Secretariat reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning reasons. For best chances, bidders should ensure compliance with all eligibility and submission requirements and maintain high standards in laundry service quality.
