Tender Description
The SBP Banking Services Corporation (BSC) (General Services Department) invites bids for the procurement of repair and maintenance services for baggage scanning machines (Astrophysics) installed at multiple locations across Pakistan. This procurement covers a contract period of two years starting from December 1, 2026. The machines are located at SBP BSC offices in Karachi, Hyderabad, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Lahore, and Multan. Items being procured:
- Repair & Maintenance for 4 machines at Karachi (HOK)
- Repair & Maintenance for 1 machine at Hyderabad
- Repair & Maintenance for 1 machine at Quetta
- Repair & Maintenance for 1 machine at Rawalpindi
- Repair & Maintenance for 1 machine at Sialkot
- Repair & Maintenance for 1 machine at Lahore
- Repair & Maintenance for 1 machine at Multan
The scope includes monthly preventive maintenance visits, emergency response within 12 hours, and availability of spare parts within 15 days of order. Maintenance must be performed by OEM trained engineers and include half-yearly operator training for security staff. The service provider will bear transportation costs for site visits. Payment will be made only for operational machines. Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and submit bids electronically by the deadline. Bid security of PKR 200,000 is required. The procurement will follow the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method under the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated accordingly.
