Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the electrification and installation of electrical and mechanical (E&M) items at various ministries located within the Pak Secretariat buildings in Islamabad. Issued by the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Mechanical Division-II, this project falls under the Power, Electrical & Solar Equipment category and is based in Islamabad.
The scope involves comprehensive electrical works including installation of E&M items across multiple ministry offices within the Secretariat complex. The project demands adherence to technical specifications and quality standards to ensure reliable power distribution and mechanical installations. Given the sensitive government location, contractors must manage logistical challenges and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to minimize disruption.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant electrical category and possess valid codes for the 2025-26 financial year. Firms should also be registered on the PPRA E-PADS portal and demonstrate financial soundness and technical expertise with at least three relevant work orders from the last two years. Compliance with FBR/ATL status and submission of earnest money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) is mandatory.
The submission deadline is set for 24th October 2023 by 12:00 PM, with bid opening at 12:30 PM on the same day. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the office of the Director E&M (Maintenance), CDA, Room No. 5, P-Block Pak Secretariat Building, Islamabad. Online submission through the E-PADS portal is also accepted.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid security (Earnest Money) is correctly issued in favor of the Deputy Director, Mechanical Division-II, CDA, and uploaded on E-PADS to avoid disqualification. Also, carefully review the bidding documents for any addenda or clarifications issued before submission.
