Tender Description
The Military Engineer Services (MES) office of DW&CE (PAF) Chaklala is procuring emergency residential and non residential construction work at the PAF Base in Sargodha. This tender covers the provision of certain facilities at the base, with a combined estimated cost of over **PKR 40 million**. The scope includes construction and civil works related to residential and non residential facilities, requiring contractors to have relevant experience and technical capacity to handle emergency works under PPRA Rule 42-c (v) of 2004.
Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and belong to approved categories A or B. They should also be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in similar works at military or government installations is essential. The tender documents will only be issued to firms that meet these criteria and submit complete applications for issuance of tender documents.
The tender submission deadline is **4th May 2026 at 11:30 AM**, with opening scheduled for 12:00 PM the same day at the office of the Accepting Officer. Bidders should ensure their tenders are delivered on time to avoid disqualification. The contact point for queries and further details is CMES (PAF) Sargodha, available during working hours.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as per tender requirements and ensure all supporting documents, including PEC registration and FBR certificates, are valid and attached. This will help avoid common pitfalls during technical evaluation and increase chances of successful bid acceptance.
