Port Qasim Authority Karachi is seeking qualified engineering consultancy firms for the assessment of various PQA buildings. This procurement is specifically for providing expert engineering consultancy services to evaluate the structural and functional conditions of multiple buildings under the authority’s jurisdiction in Karachi. The scope includes detailed assessment and reporting on the condition of the buildings, identifying any structural or maintenance issues, and recommending necessary remedial actions. The consultancy must cover all relevant technical aspects and comply with the highest standards of engineering practice. Eligible firms must possess a valid PEC Registration Certificate with service codes 1201, 1235, 0532, 0543, 0546, and 0575. Additionally, firms must be registered as active taxpayers with both FBR and SRB and be duly registered on the e-PADS portal at the time of proposal submission. This ensures compliance with all regulatory and tax obligations. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 2026-07-21 at 12:00 hours in the Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Main Administration Building, Port Qasim Authority, Karachi. The deadline for submission of technical and financial proposals is 2026-08-11 by 12:00 hours. Proposals must be submitted both physically at the PQA office and online via the e-PADS portal. Technical proposals will be opened on the same day at 12:30 hours in the presence of the procurement committee and participating firms. A bid security of PKR 1,000,000 in the form of a Pay Order or Bank Draft from a scheduled bank with AA rating by PACRA must accompany the technical proposal. The bid security must also be uploaded in PDF format on e-PADS. Financial proposals of only technically qualified firms will be opened later, with dates communicated separately. Bidders should carefully prepare their proposals ensuring all required documents, including Earnest Money and CDR, are complete and valid.
