Establishment and Upgradation of Jetty and Related Structures

Korangi Fisheries Harbour Authority (KoFHA) invites e-bids for the establishment and upgradation of jetty and related structures in Karachi. This procurement is specifically for national construction firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-3 or above, holding valid PEC certificates with specialization codes CE-03 and CE-10. Additionally, bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department under the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Sindh Revenue Board (SRB). Items being procured: - Establishment of Jetty - Upgradation of Related Structures The project involves significant civil construction works at the Korangi Fisheries Harbour site, requiring expertise in marine and harbour infrastructure. The scope includes structural improvements and modernization to enhance operational capacity and safety. Eligibility criteria include PEC registration in the specified category and codes, valid FBR and SRB registration, and submission of a bid security of not less than PKR 10,000,000 in the form of a Pay Order or Bank Guarantee from a scheduled bank with a minimum long-term PACRA/VIS rating of AAA (Karachi-based branch). Bid security must be valid for 180 days and issued in favor of Korangi Fisheries Harbour Authority. Insurance company-issued bid securities will not be accepted. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 23/09/2026 at 1200 hours in the Committee Room of Korangi Fisheries Harbour Authority. E-bids must be submitted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) V2.0 by 01 October 2026 at 12:00 PM, with opening at 12:30 PM the same day. Manual submissions are not allowed. In case of a holiday on the submission/opening date, bids will be opened the next working day at the same time. Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) is notified as per Rule 48 of Public Procurement Rules, 2004, with notifications available on the procuring agency's website and EPADS.
