Expression of Interest for Construction of Peshawar D.I. Khan Motorway Segments 2, 5 & 7

The Pakhtunkhwa Highways Authority (PKHA) invites Expressions of Interest for the construction of the Peshawar to Dera Ismail Khan Motorway, a controlled-access 4-lane (2+2) motorway approximately 360 KM long, divided into eight independent segments. This project aims to enhance regional connectivity and establish a strategic transportation corridor for trade and mobility in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. PKHA has completed prequalification for segments 1, 3, 4, 6, and 8. This EOI is issued for prequalification of interested parties for the remaining segments 2, 5, and 7. The segments are: - Segment 2: Dera Adam Khel to Kohat (with Tunnel 01, 5.6 KM approx.) - 18 KM - Segment 5: Banda Daud Shah to Sor Dag (with Tunnel 02, 1.42 KM approx.) - 35 KM - Segment 7: Bannu to Yarik M-14 - 94 KM The selected segments will be developed under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis. The successful bidder (Concessionaire) will be responsible for financing, designing, developing, constructing, insuring, operating, managing, improving, and maintaining the project, and transferring it back to PKHA at the end of the concession period. Separate Prequalification Documents for each segment are available from PKHA during office hours against a non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000 (US$ 20) per segment. The deadline for submission of Prequalification Applications is 05/11/2026 till 1530 hours. PKHA reserves the right to reject any or all applications with cogent reasons.
