Extension of Offices and Lab at First Floor Over Existing Building at Sukkur IBA University Ghotki Campus

Sukkur IBA University invites bids for the extension of offices and laboratory at the first floor over the existing building at its Ghotki Campus. This project involves comprehensive civil, plumbing, and electrical works to be completed within six months. Items being procured include: - Civil works: dismantling, plain and reinforced concrete, reinforcement work, brick masonry, surface rendering, painting and varnishing, floor finishes, false ceiling, carpentry and joinery - Plumbing works: nylon connections, CP Muslim shower, wash basin mixture, mirrors, bathroom accessories, bib-cocks, jet shower, European type W.C. pans, ball valves, uPVC and HDPE pipes - Electrical works: mains and sub-mains wiring, circuit breakers, flush type switches, LED lighting, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, aluminium glazed partitions The scope covers all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the full execution of the works as per the detailed bill of quantities and specifications. Bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in category C-5 or above with relevant specialized codes CE-10(i) and EE11(vi). Valid registration with Income Tax and Sales Tax authorities along with active taxpayer status is mandatory. Bidders must have an average annual turnover equal to or exceeding the estimated cost over the last five years. An affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper declaring no litigation, blacklisting, or corrupt practices is required. Bid security of Rs. 610,000 in the form of pay order or demand draft in favor of Sukkur IBA University must accompany the technical proposal. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS portal using the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure. Technical proposals will be evaluated first, and only technically qualified bids will have their financial proposals opened. The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated bidder meeting all eligibility criteria. The performance security will be 5% of the contract price. The defect liability period is six months from the date of completion certificate issuance. The bid validity period is 90 days. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents, submit complete and signed forms, and ensure timely submission through EPADS. The bid opening will be held at the Admin Block, Sukkur IBA University, Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui Road, Sukkur.
