Supply and Installation of Fire Alarm System, Logo Sukkur, Signage Works and Reverse Osmosis Plant at Trauma and Emergency Response Centre GMMMC Sukkur

The Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT), Karachi, is procuring a comprehensive package including the supply and installation of an addressable fire alarm system, logo and signage works for Sukkur, and a reverse osmosis (RO) plant for the Trauma and Emergency Response Centre at GMMMC Sukkur. This procurement is specific to the Sindh province and aims to enhance safety, branding, and water treatment infrastructure at the trauma center. The technical scope covers multiple specialized items: an addressable fire alarm system with control panels, smoke detectors, sounders, manual call points, and fire cables; a skid-mounted RO plant with a capacity of 10,000 USGPD designed for feed water TDS up to 4000 ppm, including pre-treatment filters, high-pressure pumps, polyamide membranes, control systems, and electrical works; and detailed signage works involving laser-cut plastic letters, LED modules, MS pipe framing, and installation. All equipment must meet international standards and be CE Certified, FDA Approved, or DRAP Registered where applicable. Eligible bidders must be registered with EPADS SPPRA, hold valid FBR/NTN registration, and demonstrate relevant experience with documentary proof from the last three years. They must submit a tender fee of Rs. 5,000 and a bid security of 5% of the total quoted price. The procurement follows the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (amended) under a single stage one envelope procedure. Bidders must sign and stamp all pages of the bidding documents and submit samples in commercial packaging at least two days before tender submission. Site survey reports signed by the Deputy Manager (Maintenance) SMBBIT are mandatory. The submission deadline and bid opening dates are to be confirmed on the EPADS SPPRA portal. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS SPPRA; no hand-delivered or mailed bids will be accepted. The contract period covers financial years 2025-26, 2026-27, and 2027-28 with liquidated damages applicable for delays. Delivery is to SMBBIT Karachi and satellite trauma centers across Sindh.
