Deployment of GPON OFC Network at Karachi, Hyderabad and Sujawal

This tender invites qualified firms to deploy a GPON Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) network across key locations in Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sujawal under the National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC). The project covers comprehensive installation, including laying of optical fiber cables, joint enclosures, fiber distribution hubs, and associated accessories as per NTC and PTCL technical specifications. The scope includes both supply and installation of materials such as optical fiber cables of various fiber counts, wall mount and rack mount fiber distribution hubs, splitters, patch cords, and termination boxes. The work involves complex engineering challenges including trench excavation, duct laying, aerial cable fixing, splicing, and testing across urban and institutional sites like Sindh Secretariat, Governor House, Central Prison, PTV Station, and others in Sindh province. Bidders must be registered with PEC in categories EE07 and EE08, hold valid active taxpayer status with FBR, and demonstrate at least three years of relevant telecommunication experience. The tender requires submission of earnest money of PKR 1,375,000 in the form of pay order or bank guarantee. The contract duration is four months from the date of work commencement with a 12-month warranty period. Performance security of 10% of contract value is mandatory. The project demands strict compliance with PEC and FBR regulations for the fiscal year 2025-26, including active tax payer status at payment time.
