Tender Description
The Communication & Works Department, 6th Buildings Division, Lahore, is inviting bids for the establishment of hatchery facilities for Pangasius and other high value fish species (Group No. 03). This project is part of the department's ongoing efforts to enhance aquaculture infrastructure in Lahore and support the fisheries sector with modern, purpose-built facilities.
Items being procured:
- Establishment of hatchery facilities for Pangasius and other high value fish species (Group No. 03) (Estimated cost: Rs.107.738 Million)
The technical scope includes the construction and development of specialized hatchery infrastructure, installation of necessary equipment, and provision of all related civil, electrical, and mechanical works as per the approved DNIT and BOQ. The successful contractor must possess a valid PEC License in the relevant category and specialization code for the current financial year. Only contractors/firms with the requisite specialization will be considered eligible. The project duration is set at 15 months from the date of commencement.
All interested bidders must be registered with the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and submit their bids through the Punjab E-Procurement System (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk). The tender requires submission of both technical and financial bids, duly signed and stamped, via the online portal. A 5% earnest money of the estimated cost (Rs.5,386,900) must be deposited through 1-Link/Online Bank Transfer using the PSID generated by the Punjab E-Procurement System. Bids not accompanied by earnest money will be rejected.
The last date for submission of bids is 26-08-2026 at 11:00 AM. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM, with financial bids to be opened after technical evaluation. All queries and clarifications should be directed to the Executive Engineer, 6th Buildings Division, Lahore. A practical tip: Ensure your PEC License includes the correct specialization code as per the DNIT to avoid disqualification at the technical evaluation stage.
