Hiring of Rented Vehicles for Economic Transformation Initiative Gilgit-Baltistan

The Economic Transformation Initiative (ETI) under the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan invites sealed bids for the hiring of rented vehicles to support the Department of Cooperatives Gilgit Baltistan under the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA). This procurement is financed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) as part of the Economic Transformation Initiative. Items being procured: - 02 Nos Rental Vehicle with drivers, engine capacity 1399cc to 1800cc, Model Year 2005 or newer, seating capacity 4 passengers, adequate storage space for luggage. Vehicle rent per month includes repair/spare, mobile oil change, driver salary and per diem charges. The vehicles will be used for official purposes under the ETI program in Gilgit. The scope includes provision of well-maintained vehicles with professional drivers, ensuring timely availability and operational readiness. The contract covers monthly rental charges inclusive of maintenance and driver costs. Interested firms, suppliers, and service providers must obtain bidding documents free of cost from the office of the Procurement Officer PCU during office hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) on working days from the date of publication. Bids must be submitted by 11:00 a.m. on or before **October 01, 2026** and will be publicly opened at 11:30 a.m. the same day at the ETI-GB office in Gilgit. All bids must be accompanied by a refundable Bid Security of not less than 3% of the bid price in the name of Programme Coordination Unit Gilgit, in the form of a Bank Draft or CDR from a scheduled bank. The procuring entity reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of vehicles. Firms will be selected according to the PPRA/IFAD Project Procurement Handbook.
