Tender Description

The International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) at the University of Karachi invites bids for the import of parts for a Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to be used in the Nanotechnology Instrumentation Laboratory located in Karachi. This procurement is critical for enhancing the research capabilities of the Nanotechnology Lab by acquiring essential components to maintain and upgrade the SEM equipment. Items being procured: - Assy aperture holder for SEM (1 No.) - Bayonet for SEM (1 No.) - Grease, fomblin for SEM (1 No.) - Flu Screen for SEM (1 No.) - KIT, TIP SEALS nXDS10i for SEM (2 Nos.) - Oil cartridge, nEXT for SEM (1 No.) - Hotswap Module Apreo 2 SEM (1 No.) The scope includes the supply of these specific parts on a C&F basis with delivery expected within 12 weeks of contract award. Bidders must quote prices inclusive of all taxes, duties, levies, and installation charges up to the delivery location at ICCBS Karachi. The procurement follows the Single-Stage One Envelope procedure as per Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 (updated 2019). Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid tax registration, at least three years of relevant experience, and a minimum annual turnover equal to the bid amount for the last three years. A bid security of 2% of the estimated bid value is mandatory, along with a performance guarantee of 5% of the purchase order value upon award. Bids must be submitted electronically through the EPADS portal (www.portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk) by 08-09-2026 at 11:30 A.M., with original bid security pay order submitted to the Purchase Department ICCBS before the deadline. Late or conditional bids, or those without bid security, will be rejected. The bid opening will occur on the same day at 12:00 P.M.
