Tender Description
The Pakistan Navy Marines Field Engineering Company (MFEC) based in Sujawal is procuring works for the improvement of an earthen jetty at Picket-I of Marines Canal in the Jati area. This project involves civil works focused on enhancing the jetty structure to support operational needs in the creek region. The scope includes site-specific earthworks and structural improvements to ensure durability and functionality in a challenging marine environment.
Eligible contractors must be pre-qualified and registered with government organizations, preferably with the Military Engineering Services (MES) or Ministry of Defence (MoD). Valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration, General Sales Tax (GST) registration, and NTN certificates are mandatory. Contractors should be active taxpayers and capable of submitting earnest money or CDR as per tender requirements. The technical bid must be comprehensive and complete to avoid rejection.
Tender documents will be issued only to pre-qualified firms from 1st June 2026 to 16th June 2026. The final bids quoting rates must reach the Accepting Officer (OIC MFEC) by 17th June 2026 at 11:30 AM, with bid opening scheduled at 12:00 PM the same day at HQ 301 Creeks Brigade, Sujawal. Interested bidders should ensure timely submission and compliance with all documentation requirements.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the pre-qualification criteria and ensure all certificates and tax documents are valid and up to date before applying. Incomplete applications or missing data will not be entertained, so attention to detail in the technical bid is crucial for success in this tender.
