Tender Description
The Public Health Engineering Division Dadu invites bids for the Improvement & Extension of Water Supply Scheme Fareedabad & Adjoining Villages Taluka Johi District Dadu. This tender covers comprehensive civil works, water supply infrastructure, and solar energy system installation to enhance water distribution and pumping capacity in the Dadu district.
Items being procured:
- Excavation for pipeline trenches and pits in soft soils (51720 Cft)
- Laying, jointing, and testing of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes of various diameters (3", 4", 6")
- HDPE fittings including elbows, tees, reducers, butt fusion joints
- Air valve double acting 3"x1"
- Cast Iron sluice valves and flanges
- Construction of chambers for sluice valves
- Refilling excavated trenches
- Low service reservoir construction including excavation, concrete works, brickwork, plastering, RCC, steel reinforcement
- Solar energy system including 550-650 watt mono-perc grade-A solar panels, VFD drives, PV balance system, wiring and installation
- Compound wall construction including excavation, concrete, brickwork, RCC, steel reinforcement, plastering, painting
- Repair of low service reservoir
- Repair of pumping machinery including dismantling, rewinding electric motors, repair of centrifugal pumps, supply and fixing of pipes and fittings
The technical scope includes excavation, pipeline installation, valve and fitting installation, construction of reservoirs and chambers, solar power system installation for pumping machinery, and compound wall construction. The project requires PEC registration, financial capability, technical staff including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers, and relevant experience in similar works. Bid security of 5% of estimated cost is required.
Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Office of the Executive Engineer (Dev) Public Health Engineering Division Dadu at Gharibabad Muhalla Dadu by 27-08-2026 12:30 PM. Technical bids will be opened on the same day. The procurement method is Single Stage Two Envelope. The estimated cost is Rs. 23.51 Million. The contract period and detailed terms are as per the bidding documents.
