Tender Description
The Punjab Highways Department invites bids for the improvement of the metalled road footpath and the supply and fixing of street lights on Ghous-Ul-Azam Road from Khan Plaza to High Court Chowk PSO Pump in Multan. This tender is specifically issued by the Executive Engineer Highways Division Multan and targets contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category for the Financial Year 2025-26.
Items being procured:
- Improvement of Metalled Road Footpath

The technical scope includes rigid pavement and RCC drain work using concrete batching plants and concrete paving machines. Surfacing will be executed by mechanized systems such as TST/DST. Recovery against credit of old material will be adjusted manually. Contractors must submit earnest money in the form of CDR at 5% of the estimated cost and performance security at 10% of the contract amount within 15 days of offer letter receipt. The original CDR must be furnished half an hour before bid opening at the Executive Engineer Highways Division Multan office.
Eligibility requires valid PEC registration in the relevant category, FBR/ATL registration, and adherence to PPRA rules. Bidders must quote item rates and total amounts clearly. No price variation or cost overrun will be accepted as per contract clauses. The bid opening will be conducted at the office of the Commissioner Multan Division.
The tender closing date is 18th June 2026 by 23:59:59. Bids must be submitted electronically via the Punjab PPRA e-procurement website. The submission deadline and earnest money requirements are strictly enforced.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your PEC license is renewed for the current financial year and upload all required documents correctly on the PPRA portal well before the deadline to avoid disqualification due to technicalities.
