Improvement and Rehabilitation of Road Infrastructure in 05 Town Municipal Corporation, District East, Karachi - Package 04

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department invites bids for the Improvement and Rehabilitation of Road Infrastructure in 05 Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) in District East, Karachi under ADP#1765/2026-27, Package 04. This package includes two major road rehabilitation works: (i) Improvement and rehabilitation of dual road from Darul Sehat Hospital to Johar Hill Road (Continental Bakery Road), Gulistan-e-Johar Block 14, TMC Safoora, District East, Karachi; and (ii) Improvement and rehabilitation of Suparco Road via Dow Hospital to Highway, TMC Safoora, District East, Karachi. Items being procured: - Improvement/rehabilitation of dual road from Darul Sehat Hospital to Johar Hill Road (Continental Bakery Road) - Improvement/rehabilitation of Suparco Road via Dow Hospital to Highway - Road works including dismantling of existing asphalt and cement concrete roads - Earth excavation and cartage of materials - Preparation and laying of sub-base and aggregate base course - Application of tack coat and laying of asphalt concrete wearing course - Repair of leakages in RCC and MS pipelines - Raising of existing sewerage manholes/service chambers - Sewerage system works including excavation, pipe laying, manhole construction, cleaning and maintenance - Median, footpath, and island works including precast edge blocks, cement paving blocks, and painting - Ancillary works including supply and fixing of cat eyes/road studs and thermoplastic pavement marking The technical scope covers all civil works related to road rehabilitation, sewerage system repairs, median and footpath construction, and ancillary road safety features. The works must be executed in accordance with the specifications, drawings, and bill of quantities provided by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation. Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-3 or above with relevant discipline codes, possess valid NTN and Sales Tax registration, be on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of FBR and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), and have requisite experience and financial capacity. Bidders must submit bid security of 5% of the estimated cost and an integrity pact on stamp paper worth Rs. 200. Joint ventures are not allowed.
