Improvement of Trenches by Asphalt Concrete at PECHS TMC Chanesar District East Karachi

Town Municipal Corporation Chanesar District East Karachi invites bids for the improvement of trenches by asphalt concrete at two locations within PECHS TMC Chanesar, District East. The works include earthwork excavation of roadside nalies, carriage of materials such as stone, aggregate, coal lime, surkhi, bricks, tiles, timber, and fuel wood by trucks up to 10 miles. Further, providing and laying aggregate base course in proper grade and camber with CBR 80% as per AASHTO standards, including spreading and compacting by approved mechanical means. The main asphalt concrete work involves providing and laying 1-½" thick asphalt concrete re-mix carpet with paver machine, prepared according to job mix formula approved by the Engineer in charge, including rolling and finishing to proper line, grade, level, and camber. Additionally, kerb stone providing and fixing of precast edge blocks of 3750 PSI industrial made size 6 inches thick x 12 inches long x 18 inches high including excavation and haunching with 1450 PSI concrete mortar is included. Items being procured: - Earth work excavation of roadside nalies (5175 %0cft) - Carriage of materials (stone, aggregate, spawl, coal lime, surkhi, bricks, tiles, timber, fuel wood) by trucks (10 miles) - Providing and laying aggregate base course (1856 %Cft) - Providing and laying 1-½" thick asphalt concrete re-mix carpet (14490 %Sft) - Providing and fixing precast kerb stone edge blocks (228 Each) The project requires contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 or above with specialization code CE01. Firms must be registered with FBR/SRB and have active income and sales tax status. Financial capacity with a turnover of at least PKR 50 million over the last five years is mandatory, supported by bank statements and audited accounts from an internationally affiliated audit firm. Bidders must submit a 5% bid security in the form of a pay order from their own account and provide proof of machinery ownership or lease. A project team with at least three engineers is required, with relevant payroll and appointment letters. Firms must not be blacklisted or involved in litigation with any government or semi-government entity. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS by 10:30 AM on 04-11-2026. Bid opening will take place at 11:00 AM on the same day at the office of the Executive Engineer (B&R), TMC Chanesar District East, located at Goal Market SMCHS Block B near Darwashiya Masjid, Karachi. The bid validity period is 90 days. Tender fees of PKR 3,000 must be submitted via pay order before bid submission deadline.
