Tender Description
The District and Sessions Court, Thatta is procuring the installation of an additional 6 kW solar power system at its Judicial Complex in Thatta. This procurement is specific to the Thatta district and aims to enhance the energy infrastructure of the court premises with a hybrid solar power system.
The technical scope includes supply and installation of a 6 kW hybrid inverter (Nitrox or equivalent), 14 solar panels of 580 W each (Inverex or Jinko Tier-1 Mono PERC), a lithium-ion battery bank (48 V deep cycle), mounting structures made of 16-gauge MS pipe, distribution box, wiring, breakers, and all necessary electrical and miscellaneous items. The installation also covers testing, commissioning, and handover of the complete system.
Eligible bidders must be registered contractors, manufacturers, authorized distributors, or experienced service providers with a minimum annual turnover of PKR 1 million over the last three fiscal years. They must be on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of FBR, registered under the Sales Tax Act with NTN, GST, and Vendor Number. Experience of at least two similar contracts is required, supported by documentary evidence. Blacklisted firms are not eligible.
The bid submission deadline is **8th April 2026 at 11:40 PM**, with technical proposals opening the same day at 1:00 PM via the SPPRA e-Procurement (ePAD) portal. Bidders must submit bids electronically and provide an earnest money of PKR 30,000 in the form of a bank draft or pay order in favor of the Access to Justice Development Fund for District Judge, Thatta. The original earnest money instrument must reach the procuring agency before bid opening.
