Tender Description
The Public Health Engineering Division Dadu invites sealed bids for the installation of deep hand pumps at various villages of UC Tore (East, North & South Side) in Taluka Johi District Dadu, Sindh. This procurement is part of the ADP-funded development works for the fiscal year 2026-27 and follows the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure.
Items being procured:
- Deep Hand Pumps (150 ft): boring of tube wells up to 150 ft with casing pipes, supplying and installing PVC strainer and blind pipes, development charges, shrouding with graded bajri, supplying and testing deep hand pumps with G.I steel parts, providing uPVC pipes with fittings and solvent cement, and conducting resistivity surveys including mobilization and lodging of geologists.
- Deep Hand Pumps (200 ft): similar scope as above with extended boring up to 200 ft.
- Deep Hand Pumps (250 ft): boring up to 250 ft including additional boring from 200.1 to 300 ft, PVC pipes class C, development charges, shrouding, pump installation, uPVC pipe fixing, and resistivity surveys.
The technical scope includes comprehensive drilling, installation, and testing of deep hand pumps with all necessary civil and mechanical works, including pipe laying and hydrogeological surveys. The work site is located in Dadu district, and the contractor must ensure proper handling of materials and equipment, compliance with PEC licensing requirements, and submission of bid security of 5% of the estimated cost.
Key eligibility criteria include PEC registration in relevant categories, FBR/NTN registration, ISO certification, and submission of affidavits regarding litigation and blacklisting status. The contractor must also demonstrate experience in similar works, availability of machinery and qualified technical personnel, and financial capability as evidenced by bank certificates and audit reports.
The bid submission deadline is 27-08-2026 at 12:30 pm at the office of the Executive Engineer (Dev) Public Health Engineering Division Dadu, located at Gharibabad Muhalla Dadu. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and accompanied by the required bid security. Technical bids will be opened on the same day in the presence of bidders' representatives.
