Tender Description
This tender invites suppliers to provide Interlac 665 Ash Grey Paint Latex, a specialized coating material, for the Pakistan Navy based in Karachi. The procurement is managed by the Attaché Defence Procurement office at the High Commission for Pakistan in London, focusing on construction and civil works materials essential for naval maintenance and infrastructure.
The supply involves 800 liters of high-quality latex paint, specifically Interlac 665, which must be brand new and OEM certified. The paint is required to meet strict packaging and labeling standards, including legible markings and fragile handling symbols. Additionally, the product must retain at least 85% of its shelf life upon delivery, supported by a valid lab test report indicating manufacturing and expiry dates. Delivery terms specify FOB UK or CPT Karachi, ensuring timely arrival for naval use.
Bidders should ensure compliance with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) standards relevant to construction materials and maintain an active FBR/ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. It is advisable to prepare a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as earnest money and submit both technical and financial bids separately to meet regulatory requirements.
The submission deadline is set for 10th April 2026 at 1130 hours, with bid opening at 1230 hours on the same day. Bids must be forwarded in sealed envelopes clearly marked 'Tender Inside' to the Attaché Defence Procurement office at the High Commission for Pakistan, 35-36 Lowndes Square, London, SW1X 9JN.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the tender advertisement for specific instructions on packaging and lab certification to avoid disqualification. Also, confirm the export license requirements early to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely delivery.
