Tender Description
The Provincial Buildings Division-II invites bids for comprehensive janitorial services at Sindh Secretariat Buildings No. I (New Building) located in Karachi. This procurement is aimed at maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the premises to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants and visitors.
Items being procured:
- Daily continuous mopping of all levels including main entrance inside and outside areas
- Daily cleaning of toilets and disinfecting attached baths twice a day
- Sweeping and vacuum cleaning of carpeted areas
- Cleaning of all elevator floors and walls
- Dry and wet cleaning & mopping of handrails of all staircases and walkways
- Cleaning, sweeping, and mopping of stair case landings and walkway floors
- Cleaning and sweeping of walls and floors of core areas including fire hose cabinets
- Cleaning, sweeping, and continuous mopping of lifts lobbies and corridors at ground floor
- Cleaning and sweeping of platform on ground floor
- Removal of cobwebs, dusting, and cleaning of false ceilings of all toilets in common core areas
- Cleaning, sweeping, and mopping of all toilets in common core areas
- Cleaning and sweeping of perimeter road and footpaths within the security fence
- Emptying of all dustbins and maintaining them in neat condition
- Cleaning and sweeping of car parking
- Daily collection and disposal of all rubbish and waste material to K.M.C. disposal areas
- Cleaning of main duct roads including parking area green belt footpath medium pathway
- Daily cleaning, sweeping, and mopping of all rooms at all levels
- Weekly cleaning of all accessible electrical fixtures
- Weekly collection and removal of waste material from rooftops
- Weekly washing of floors with bleach and surf
- Weekly dry and wet cleaning of glazed/aluminum panels
- Fortnightly mopping of walls of walkways and staircases
- Fortnightly cleaning and mopping of all walls, diffusers, false ceilings, grills, and fittings
- Fortnightly dusting and cleaning of security fence, gates, and oiling/greasing of gates if required
- Fortnightly dusting and cleaning of all logos and signage in common areas
- Fortnightly dusting and cleaning of street lights and street light panels
- Fortnightly cleaning of glasses from inside and outside with cradle
- Fortnightly cleaning of sewerage system in case of blockage and removal of solid waste
The scope includes all janitorial materials and equipment which will be arranged by the contractor at no extra cost. The contractor is responsible for providing uniformed, punctual, and skilled/unskilled staff with valid CNICs and photographs for entrance passes. The work must be completed before 08:00 A.M. daily. The contract duration is three months with a bid security of 5% and a total security deposit of 10% of the bid amount. Income tax at 8% will be deducted from bills.
Eligibility requires valid NTN registration and compliance with all codal requirements. Bids must be submitted by 24-09-2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the office of the Executive Engineer, Provincial Buildings Division-II, Barrack No.18, Block 4-A, Sindh Secretariat Saddar Karachi. The bid opening will be held on the same date and time.
