Improvement and Rehabilitation of Road Infrastructure in District West Karachi Package 05

Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Engineering Department invites eligible civil works contractors to submit bids for improvement and rehabilitation of road infrastructure in District West, Karachi, under Provincial ADP #1769/2026-27, Package 05. The works cover three locations and combine roadway reconstruction, sewerage-related works, pavement rehabilitation, paving blocks, drainage repairs, and associated road safety improvements. Mandatory package and lot list: Lot i, Improvement and rehabilitation of Main Road Khairabad from Aman Chowk UC-01 to Gulshan-e-Touheed UC-01, TMC Manghopir; Lot ii, reconstruction and rehabilitation of the road from Manghopir Chungi Stop UC-01 to Haji Mehmood Wangi Goth and Rahim Wangi Goth, UC-01, TMC Manghopir; and Lot iii, reconstruction, rehabilitation and improvement of road and patch repair works at Abdullah Gabol Road, TMC Manghopir. The printed BOQs include sewerage excavation, RCC pipes, pumping, manholes, RCC slabs and covers, trench refilling, sewer cleaning, road excavation and dismantling, carriage of materials, gravel sub-base, aggregate base course, prime and tack coats, asphalt binder and wearing courses, precast edge blocks, paving blocks, masonry painting, pavement markings, reflectorized road studs, and RCC or MS pipe leakage repairs. The estimated cost is **PKR 445,306,961**, with a stated completion period of 24 months and a penalty of **Rs. 3,000 per day**. Bidders must provide bid security of five percent; **Rs. 5.00 million** is required with the Technical Offer and the balance with the Financial Offer. Eligibility includes PEC registration in C-3 or above with CE01, CE09 and CE10 disciplines, valid FBR NTN and ATL status, Sindh Revenue Board registration and ATL status, five-year audited accounts, relevant experience, equipment, qualified staff, and an integrity pact. Technical and financial proposals must be uploaded online through EPADS at http://portalsindh.eprocurement.gov.pk by **24 August 2026 at 11:00 AM**. Technical bids are scheduled for opening at **11:30 AM** at Office #01, Engineering Department, KMC, Muslimanbad, Karachi. Physical or hard-copy bids will not be accepted.
