Lease of Salaring Phase-II Houses by Cantonment Board Peshawar for 3 Years

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. The Military Lands & Cantonments Department Cantonment Board Peshawar invites bids for the lease of Salaring Phase-II houses for a period of three years from 1st December 2026 to 30th November 2029. The lease auction will be held on 16th November 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cantonment Board Office, Jhelum Road, Peshawar Cantt. If the auction is not successful on this date, it will be re-held on 17th and 18th November 2026. Items being leased: - House (Fee Rs. 1000/-) - Cowshed/Barn (Fee Rs. 500/-) - Goat Shed/Other (Fee Rs. 300/-) The lease requires bidders to deposit a security amount of Rs. 1.5 million with the Cantonment Board Peshawar. Only registered persons with valid CNIC and NTN are eligible to participate. The highest and second highest bidders will be called for payment, while others will be refunded. Verification of documents will be conducted within two days of the auction. The successful bidder must pay 1/4th of the lease amount immediately and the remaining in quarterly installments. Failure to comply will result in cancellation of the lease. The lease agreement includes a 10% increase in rent annually. The houses must be maintained properly and any damage repaired by the lessee. The lease is non-transferable without prior approval. Bidders are advised to carefully review the terms and conditions, including penalties for breach and legal compliance under PPRA Rule 33(1) 2004.
