LEASE: Vacant Locations and Spaces at Post Plaza Commercial Market Satellite Town Rawalpindi

NOTE: This is an AUCTION/LEASE notice, not a procurement tender. Bidders pay the department to acquire ownership, lease, rental, or collection rights. Pakistan Post invites bids for leasing vacant locations and spaces at the Post Plaza Commercial Market, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi. The lease is offered by the Postmaster General Northern Punjab Circle Rawalpindi. Interested bidders can participate in the tender for renting out these spaces on a per square feet rate basis. The agreement duration is three years, renewable by mutual consent under PPRA-2004 and Disposal of Public Assets Regulation 2024. Items being leased: - Vacant locations and spaces at Post Plaza Commercial Market, Satellite Town Rawalpindi - Total area available: 3668 square feet - Reserved price: Rs. 120 per square foot The successful bidder will be allowed to carry out renovation work at their own expense to make the space usable. The business operated must be a non-production unit; acceptable businesses include restaurants, banks, clothing brands, cellular franchises, snooker clubs, beauty salons, and cash & carry outlets. Any other business requires mutual consent and permission from the authority. Competitors of Pakistan Post are not allowed to operate in these spaces. Alterations without permission are prohibited and may lead to cancellation and forfeiture of security money. Eligibility criteria include NTN and ATL registration, valid sales and income tax certificates, and submission of a refundable earnest money pay order of Rs. 100,000 in favor of the Postmaster General Northern Punjab Circle Rawalpindi. The bidder must also deposit a security amount equal to six months' rent upon acceptance. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Advertising Authority with the tender clearly marked. Key dates: Tender documents can be obtained until 14-09-2026 during office hours. Bids must be submitted by 15-09-2026 before 10:30 am and will be opened the same day at 11:00 am in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Late or conditional bids will not be accepted. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure all required documents including NTN, ATL, tax registrations, CNIC copies, and earnest money pay order are complete and attached to avoid disqualification. Also, prepare for timely payment of monthly rent and utility bills to maintain good standing and avoid penalties or cancellation.
