Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KPEZDMC) invites Expressions of Interest for the engagement of a qualified Legal Advisor on retainership basis to provide specialized legal advisory services. The appointment is for an initial period of one year with possible extension based on performance and mutual consent. The Legal Advisor will provide continuous legal advice on corporate, commercial, contractual, regulatory, and litigation matters related to the Company's operations in Peshawar. Items being procured: - Legal advisory services on corporate law, commercial law, company law, contract law, constitutional law, civil law, labor and industrial laws, land acquisition laws, transfer of property laws, arbitration and ADR - Vetting, drafting, and reviewing contracts, agreements, MoUs, concession agreements, consultancy agreements, service contracts, lease deeds, EPC contracts, PPP arrangements - Legal assistance in dealings with government departments, regulators, and public sector organizations - Litigation strategy, dispute resolution, drafting replies to legal notices - Attendance and legal advice in Board and management meetings - Preparation of written legal opinions on various corporate and regulatory matters - Special assignments related to Special Economic Zones, Industrial Estates, PPP projects, foreign investment, and CPEC-related projects - Travel within Pakistan for meetings and legal assignments The scope includes close coordination with the Company's Legal Department and providing timely legal opinions and assistance. Eligibility requires an LL.B. or equivalent degree recognized by HEC, minimum 10 years legal practice including 5 years as Advocate of the High Court, and experience in relevant legal fields. Preference will be given to candidates with government advisory experience and Supreme Court practice.
