Tender Description
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is conducting the Licensing Examination for Customs Agents, scheduled to be held on Sunday, 19 July 2026. This important examination will take place at multiple test centers including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta, with Karachi as a primary location. The licensing exam is a critical step for customs clearing agents seeking official authorization to operate under FBR regulations.
The examination is organized by the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi, which will manage the written test. Candidates must ensure their eligibility by verifying their CNIC details through the official web link provided by FBR. The test syllabus, sample papers, and other essential instructions are also available on the same portal, helping applicants prepare thoroughly for the exam.
Admit cards will be dispatched to candidates' registered postal addresses and emailed to all eligible applicants on 29 and 30 June 2026. It is mandatory for candidates to carry their valid admit card along with original CNIC, NICOP, or Passport to the examination center. No candidate will be allowed entry without these documents.
This licensing examination is a vital opportunity for customs agents to comply with FBR's regulatory framework and enhance their professional credentials. Interested candidates should carefully review all instructions and ensure timely submission of applications.
A practical tip for bidders and applicants is to double-check the admit card details immediately upon receipt, as it contains crucial information about the test center and reporting time. Early verification can prevent last-minute issues on exam day and ensure smooth participation in this important licensing process.
