Loading and Carriage/Transportation of Rock Salt from Makrach Mine No. 51 at PMDC Salt Mines, Makrach

The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites bids for the loading and carriage/transportation of good quality rock salt from Makrach Mine No. 51 at PMDC Salt Mines, Makrach. This procurement is for non-consultancy services and will be conducted through the National Single Stage-One Envelope procedure using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. The contract is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and the services are to be provided for a period of one year starting from October 29, 2026. Items being procured: - Loading and transportation of good quality rock salt from Makrach Mine No. 51 to Makrach Weighbridge including loading and unloading (3000 metric tons annually, distance 6 KM) - Loading and transportation of good quality rock salt from Makrach Mine No. 51 to Makrach Bhelowal Depot including loading and unloading (6000 metric tons annually, distance 16 KM) - Loading and transportation of good quality rock salt from Makrach Mine No. 51 to M/s. LCI Khewra (Direct) including loading and unloading (6000 metric tons annually, distance 36 KM) The scope includes transportation of rock salt without mixing boulders, lumpy size rock salt or fines locally called 'soor'. The estimated quantity for the entire contract period shall not exceed 3000 MT for the first lot and 6000 MT for the other lots, subject to dispatch requirements and quality standards. Bidders must be registered and provide documentary evidence of tractors, experience certificates, financial soundness, and affidavits of no litigation or conflict of interest with PMDC. Bids must be submitted online through EPADS v2.0 by Monday, October 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Manual submissions will not be entertained. Bid security of PKR 200,000 is required in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call at Deposit, or Demand Draft. The bid opening will be held on the same day at 11:30 AM via EPADS. The contract requires a 5% performance guarantee. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids and annul the procurement process without liability.
