Local Purchase of Drugs, Medicines, Surgical Consumables, Disposables, Medical Devices and Allied Items on Rate-Contract Basis

Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), Karachi, invites eligible bidders registered on the List of Active Taxpayers of FBR/SRB to submit electronic bids through the EPADS portal for the local purchase of Drugs, Medicines, Surgical Consumables, Disposables, Medical Devices and Allied Items on a rate-contract basis. The procurement is divided into three categories: Locally Manufactured Drugs/Medicines/Contrast Media & Allied Items, Imported Drugs/Medicines/Contrast Media & Allied Items, and Surgical/Consumables/Disposables/Medical Devices & Allied Items, each with an estimated budget of Rs. 500 Million, totaling Rs. 1.5 Billion. Items being procured: - Locally Manufactured Drugs / Medicines / Contrast Media & Allied Items - Imported Drugs / Medicines / Contrast Media & Allied Items - Surgical / Consumables / Disposables / Medical Devices & Allied Items The contract requires supply on a day-to-day basis with delivery within three days of purchase order receipt. All goods must comply with prevailing Drug Laws and Rules, including DRAP specifications. Bidders must have a valid Drugs Sale License (DSL), be registered on EPADS, and meet mandatory evaluation criteria including past performance with hospitals of minimum 200 beds, FBR registration, and minimum turnover requirements. Bid security of Rs. 500,000 per category is required, with aggregated bid security for multiple categories. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS by 03 November 2026 at 11:00 Hrs, with original tender fee and bid security instruments delivered to the Procurement Directorate at DUHS Ojha Campus before bid opening at 11:30 Hrs. The procurement follows Single Stage One Envelope procedure under Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010. Payment will be made within 90 days of acceptance.
