Tender Description
This tender invites qualified contractors in Sukkur for the Maintenance and Repair Programme 2025-26 at Govt. Islamia Arts and Commerce College. The College Education Works Division Sukkur requires experienced firms registered with PEC in relevant categories to undertake comprehensive civil works including dismantling, brickwork, plastering, concrete, steel reinforcement, flooring, painting, and sanitary fittings. The site is located in Sukkur, Sindh, and the works involve structural repairs, finishing, and installation of sanitary and water supply systems.
The scope covers detailed technical specifications with quantities and rates based on the Composite Schedule of Rates. Contractors must demonstrate financial capacity with a turnover of at least 80% of the estimated cost, provide evidence of completed and ongoing similar works, and have adequate machinery and qualified technical staff. The tender requires submission of a technical proposal and a financial proposal in separate sealed envelopes. Bid security of 5% of the estimated cost is mandatory.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council for the year 2025-26 and comply with Sindh Revenue Board and FBR active taxpayer requirements. The tender follows the Single Stage, Two Envelope procurement method under SPPRA rules. The contract duration is 2 months with a tender fee of PKR 3000. The bid validity is 90 days, and performance security of 5% will be required upon award.
