Maintenance and Repair of Barrack No: 79, Sindh Secretariat Block-4-B, Karachi

The Provincial Buildings Division No: II invites bids for the maintenance and repair works of Barrack No: 79 located at Sindh Secretariat Block-4-B, Karachi. This tender covers dismantling, precast slab installation, roof topping, iron and wooden cabinet works, floor tiles fiber sheet, and aluminum partitioning. Items being procured: - Dismantling cement block masonry (1116.90 Cft) - Providing and laying 1:3:6 cement concrete solid block masonry wall 6" and below in thickness (295.35 Cft) - Providing and fixing bitumen felt paper of 60 lbs over roof including cleaning, applying bitumen coat, laying felt paper with overlaps, and spreading hill sand (4580 Sft) - Providing and laying 3" thick topping of cement concrete (1:2:4) including surface finishing and panel division (4580 Sft) - Preparing surface and painting with matt finish including rubbing, filling voids, applying coats (1552 Sft) - Two coat distempering (782 Sft) - Cement concrete plain including placing, compacting, finishing and curing (258.06 Cft) - Providing and laying porcelain tile flooring or facing of approved design (698 Sft) The scope includes all materials and workmanship as per specifications and approved samples. The site is located in Karachi, Sindh. Bidders must be registered with FBR and possess relevant PEC categories. Earnest money of 5% of the bid amount is required, which will be converted into performance guarantee after successful bidding. The bid security and other financial terms are clearly defined. The contract period is three months from the date of commencement.
