Tender Description
The Provincial Buildings Division No: II invites bids for the maintenance and repair work of Barrack No: 91 located in Sindh Secretariat Block-4-B, Karachi. This tender is issued by the Executive Engineer of the Provincial Buildings Division No: II, Karachi, and the work site is specifically in Karachi city within the Sindh province.
Items being procured:
- Installation of fancy type false ceiling of gypsum board size (4'x8') in panels with double hanging including steel wire framework, nails, and wire to ceiling
- Laying floor with approved glazed tiles 1/4" thick dado of approved color and size jointed in white cement and laid over 1:2 cement sand mortar 3/4" thick including grouting with matching color and finishing
- Installation of PVC wall paneling 4mm to 6mm thick (Envicrate Imported) of approved shade and design with true alignment and covering exposed edges and corners
The technical scope includes all materials, labor, and workmanship necessary to complete the maintenance and repair works as per the specifications and directions of the Engineer Incharge. The work must comply with the Schedule of Rates General 2024 enforced from 1-07-2024 as approved by the SRC Sindh Karachi. The contractor must use 100% well graded crushed bajri without extra payment and get all samples approved by the Executive Engineer.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have valid registration with tax authorities and PEC where applicable. Bid security of 5% of the bid amount is required, which will be converted into performance guarantee after successful bidding. The bid validity period is 90 days. Income tax at 8% will be deducted from bills. The contract period is three months from the written order to commence work.
Bids must be submitted by **02-11-2026 at 11:00 A.M** at the office of the Executive Engineer, Provincial Buildings Division No: II, Barrack No.18, Block 4-A, Sindh Secretariat Saddar Karachi. The bid opening will be held on the same date and time at the same venue.
