Tender Description

The Government of Sindh through the Works & Services Department invites bids for the maintenance and repair of the Governor Annexee at Sindh House Murree. This project involves comprehensive civil works and furniture repairs at the site located in Murree, Punjab. The scope includes removal and replacement of doors, scraping and repainting walls, polishing woodwork, glazing with glass, false ceiling installation, SPC flooring, decorative curtains, and electrical fittings including internet WiFi services and approved appliances. The work is to be executed under the supervision of the Resident Engineer, Special Project, Sindh House Islamabad. Bidders must hold a valid PEC registration in category C-4 or above relevant to civil works, be registered with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board, and demonstrate at least three years of experience in similar government projects with a minimum turnover of Rs. 100 million over the last three years. Technical bids must be accompanied by earnest money of 3% of the bid amount in the form of a call deposit receipt or pay order. The tender fee of Rs. 2,000 is non-refundable and must be paid to obtain bidding documents. The deadline for submission of bids is 20th May 2026 by 10:00 AM at Sindh House Islamabad, where bids will be opened at 10:30 AM the same day in the presence of the procurement committee and bidders or their authorized representatives. The contract duration is 12 months from the date of commencement. Bidders are advised to carefully review the bidding documents and ensure compliance with all terms including submission of bid security and undertaking on stamp paper regarding litigation and blacklisting status. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the bid security and tender fee payments are properly documented and attached with the bid to avoid disqualification. Also, downloading tender documents from the Sindh PPRA website requires submission of the tender fee in the form of a call deposit receipt. Timely submission and adherence to the single stage one envelope procedure will enhance chances of successful bidding.
