Tender Description
The College Education Works Division Hyderabad is procuring maintenance and repair works for the Govt. Boys Degree College located in Sujawal District, Sindh. This tender covers a comprehensive M & R Program for the financial year 2025-2026, focusing on civil works including dismantling, plastering, flooring, joinery, painting, and other related construction activities. The scope includes removal and replacement of cement concrete, doors, windows, plaster, marble flooring, distempering, and other finishing works as detailed in the Schedule B of the bidding documents.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category for the year 2025-26 and possess valid registration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB). Experience in similar building works with at least three completed projects in the last three years is required. Financial capacity must demonstrate a turnover of at least 80% of the estimated cost, supported by bank statements and technical staff qualifications.
The tender documents must be submitted physically in two separate sealed envelopes marked as TECHNICAL PROPOSAL and FINANCIAL PROPOSAL respectively. The deadline for submission is 04-05-2026 at 10:00 AM at the office of the Executive Engineer College Education Works Division Hyderabad, Banglow No.204 Behind Beacon House Qasimabad Phase-II Hyderabad. Technical proposals will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Financial bids of technically qualified bidders will be opened later with date communicated via the portal.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that the bid security (5% of the estimated cost) is submitted in the form of a Call Deposit from a scheduled bank in Pakistan, made in the name of the bidding firm and payable to the Executive Engineer.
